I never went to the “U” but being a diehard Ravens fan makes me appreciate the Hurricane organization that much more. Our GM Ozzie Newsome is known to draft great year in and year out and a lot of that is because of acquiring the best talent found at Miami. From Ray Lewis to Ed Reed to Willis McGahee….now if only we had Andre Johnson, we would have been in the Super Bowl (instead of Lee Evans dropping catches)

Devin Hester is the great punt returner in the history of football

@jwoodbine21 Thanks that was actually a nicer answer then what I was excepting. Wasn’t evening thinking of bye weeks.

  4. jwoodbine21 says:

@FlipThisChorme it counts QBs too but remember they all have bye weeks so even if they were to throw for a TD every game those streaks would still end every season

  5. FlipThisChorme says:

I’m guessing this isn’t counting Qb’s too? Because if it was the next closest school wouldnt be 14.

The week the streak ended was really a perfect storm. You had guys like Andre Johnson,Jimmy Graham and Reggie Wayne on bye weeks, Santana Moss was out and Frank Gore had ankle problems which limited his carries. I had a feeling if McGahee didn’t score in the Thursday night game, this would happen.

But remember, another Miami streak has already started. When its all said and done, UM will own ALL of the top two or even three TD streaks in the NFL.

  15. blackonefifty says:

Crying shame Sean Taylor wasn’t in any of these..
