But I love how Sean is trying to corner Paul because that man is scared shitless of Paul actually winning. Of course he would never admit it, he would only say that it’s because he doesn’t want Obama to win but if truth be told, I think he’d be more concerned about Ron Paul winning. But like I said, Paul is going to get a certain percentage of the vote REGARDLESS of Paul declaring 3rd party so to me the discussion is irrelevant.
There are some issues here. 1) Sean is right about Paul keeping the door open just a crack but he’s selling Paul way short how he would do as an independent. He’s wrong in the sense that people that would vote for Paul not just anti-Obama, they’re also anti-establishment. 2) I’m voting Ron Paul regardless. Whether that means by write-in or Libertarian ticket w/ Ventura, he’s getting my vote either way and that’s what Sean fails to understand is that Paul supporters aren’t wavering no matter what
What Hannity fails to understand is that Ron Paul will receive at least 3% of the vote, even if his name isn’t on the ballot.
Hannity and the other talking heads tried to dismiss Ron Paul in hopes they would be able to marginalize his support. Now that it’s obvious that he’s a serious contender, they have no choice but to recognize him. Hannity is still a stateist. He’s just pandering to the public that haven’t caught on to the difference between Constitutional Conservatism and Neoconservatism.
Ron should just say he’s not going to commit to not running 3rd party. BECAUSE he may have a good reason to if he keeps getting treated unfairly.
