The biggest reason we spend so much money on our military is because of the industrial military complex, i would suggest you read up on or watch a documentary, don’t feel like explaining it to you. The second reason is because we have more than a thousand military bases out side of america. We are a plutocrat capitalist empire whose foreign policy is only driven by trade, not Nazis or communist
America has great responsibilites in the world. With great power comes great responsibility! America was responsible for standing up to the evil empire of Soviet Union. America came to the aid of freedom when Nazis where gobbling up europe. We cannot cut the military budget by 700billion. That’s just too drastic. We have a lot of interests we have to protect and we cant do that with a budget of 20billion.

Nuclear energy is the only realistic choice if the facilities can be built in safe locations. it takes the least space per energy produced and its very cheap and cost-efficient after facilities have been built. Wind power is basically a joke. Solar panels do not make economic sense…

Well why don’t we work on creating a green economy.Building dams, more efficient public transportation, wind energy, solar energy , electric, geo thermal, etc… We need to get off oil and create some jobs while doing it .

actually I drink distilled water and try to eat only kosher foods. Actually the government adds cancerous material to our water and food directly. Bio engineered food and water filled with chemicals. Again, protesting what they put in your drinking water would be more of a benefit than protesting this logistical necessity to our oil production.
