Lucas is wrong.. the reason we do not have jobs is due to the corporations refusing to hire because they want the unemployment rate to stay high to keep people afraid they might lose their job and to suppress wages….they just make their employees work more hours less benefits and lots of part time workers…they r sitting on a few trillion dollars of cash ..spending that cash would generate the demand and government public works would help demand

“Closely linked” is subjective, and therefore impertinent. I’m not talking about what she ‘linked’; the only links present exist in your head. I only heard what she actually did say, and she never said that Ford got a bailout. She could have easily misstated an example and remedied it on the spot. Don’t talk as if you know what’s going on in someone else’s mind, because it’s probable that you’re thinking of different things. She didn’t blame Ford. She wasn’t wrong. End of story.

I’m afraid you didn’t pay attention to the interview. Ana closely linked Ford with the auto bailout. I don’t think she did it maliciously, I just think she doesn’t know what she’s talking about on this topic.

My point was Ford was financially responsible. They sold off assets to get them through the tough times, and did NOT take government money.
It’s only fair that Ford’s not blamed for doing something the other companies did.
