CANADIANS WATCH.. “OH CANADA OUR BOUGHT AND SOLD OUT LAND” it is on youtube.. /watch?v=UbACCGf6q-c & WATCH THE BRILLIANT SPEECH BY VICTORIA GRANT A 12 YEAR OLD CANADIAN GIRL.. /watch?v=vSb4L4XOBoI THEN POST THEM TO FACEBOOK!!!!!!! IF a small percentage of Canadians take their money out of the BANKS it WILL have a devastating EFFECT on the entire SYSTEM. PROTECT your money from DEVALUATION have “PHYSICAL OWNERSHIP’ of Silver, Gold, etc.. STOP DIRECT DEPOSITS! GET OUT OF PAPER!
Its a shame that every time he would get sabotaged by Jean Chretien. He lost the liberal leader race to Chretien and when he finally became PM he had to deal with Chretien’s mess.
I doubt anyone will be able to balance the books as good as he did, he would have made a great PM if the conditions were different.
I miss have Paul Martin as Prime Minister
@umacarrot
I beg your pardon, but do you not think it is important to qualify your position beyond speculation? One is after all dealing with political behavior, which is fairly ambiguous by nature. May I ask if you are familiar with the Fraser Institute or Mr Harper’s affiliation to it? Additionally, are you well read in either Austrian Economics or Classical Liberalism? Lastly, would you concede that either of these subjects would be important to understanding Mr Harper’s actions and rhetoric?
Such a smart man. It’s a pleasure to listen to him.
I don,t have to read his masters thesis to know that he stood up in Parliament before he was prime minister and demanded that we join the the Americans in deregulating the banks, do I need to remind anyone that deregulated banks were the main reason for the collapse of the whole world economy ! And don’t get me started on the purchase of the over priced F-35′s and building more prisons for our nonexistent crime wave
CBC has covered the Bilderberg Group: ww w . cbc . ca / news/background/bilderberg-group/
But in any case, they are not worth covering. And no, it is not likely they are conspiring to form a one world government.
Mr. Martin stresses the importance of retraining and education. i work in the commercial embroidery industry, which is hi-tech, value-added manufacturing. it’s an industry in which business owners are aging, and there’s room for growth as well as opportunities for young people. i’d love to start an education program, and have tried a few times. if anyone would like to help me out, message me.
Also a former attendee at one of the few north american ‘Bilderberg Group’ meetings.
I would so love to see a media outlet (any media outlet) cover those meetings of european and N.A. business and political leaders..
C’mon Steve be the first. The two Canadian members of the “Bilderberg Steering Commitee” are
CAN Clark, W. Edmund President and CEO, TD Bank Financial Group and
CAN Reisman, Heather Chair and CEO, Indigo Books & Music Inc.
What do they do for us, and why is it secret?
Very interesting discussion from a former prime-minister. Let us hope that things are turned around soon, in Canada and in the world.
Have you read Mr Harper’s master’s thesis?
Canada’s best PM in recent memory! Please run for PM again!!!
If Harper would have been in charge when Martin was, we would be in the same condition as the Americans.
Canada’s unsung hero.
I have such respect for this woman!
“When I has interviewed by the board, it was a board of 25 men” …yeah? Stupid girl! How could forbes sent this bimbo to make the interview?
this is one BAD interviewer…who dominated her for this gig….she is so bad….she cant even answer the question of what is constitute as social media? duh….facebook. dressed very unprofessional…you are interviewing IMF chief woman. Christine is being very patience and nice…she was cool through out the whole thing…was not aloof since the whole thing was badly conducted. Forbe magazine did a terrible job.
The interviewer sounds like she’s doing market research. And does she really understand the answers? It feels like she’s just ticking off the boxes.
Poor interviewer! Very annoying, very irritating voice, and poor comments. She was unappropriately dressed, and at 6:05 she reacted very very effortless. Uhm Uhm righ right. Sad.
The interviewer was annoying and inappropiately dressed. You are interviewing the IMF chairman for crying out loud! How about an appropiate length dress and closed toe shoes. Most importantly listen to what she is saying and stop saying ugh huh, ugh huh. Besides the interviewer Christine Lagarde had excellent answers and like others have said seems approachable.
The interviewer has nice legs
6:07 “right…. right that’s a good….good thing….” what a silly comment. my goodness she is a terrible interviewer either she wasn’t paying attention or was completely out of her depth interviewing someone as intelligent as Christine Lagarde.
fuck the IFM
She seems approachable and very real in the interview. Nice for the reporter to not have to deal with leachery too often associated with interviewing men in power.
thanks
