I don’t know what it is but it seems like all you people blaming SOLELY NBC want to be called saints or something? OoooOoh, blame the big corporation, not the people involved! oOoOOoh

Sure it’s NBC’s fault, but is it also Leno’s fault? OF COURSE IT IS. When your boss tells you that it’s your time to hand over the torch to the next guy on a legendary show you’ve done for 17 years, you leave.

ESPECIALLY after you AGREE to leaving. It’s NBC’s fault as much as it’s Leno’s

I notice they glossed over Letterman while talking about great talk show hosts. Does anyone here remember Letterman’s show the first 5-6 years? It was as original and funny a talk show that has ever been: Late Night Cam. The man (Chris Elliot) under the seats. (I’m watching you Dave!”) Tossing watermelons off of buildings. Stupid Pet Tricks. The original Top Ten lists. Friday’s viewer mail.

The difference between Conan and Jay is that Conan is a brilliant comedy writer. (SNL) Whereas Jay Leno has everything written for him.

Thumbs up if you want TTSwCO’B's pilot on DVD!

Hey, it’s NOT Conan O’brien or Jay Leno’s fault that things got bad with the TONIGHT SHOW…….they enjoy their performance in front of the camera. In here no wants to blame…except THE BIG BOYS OF NBC WHO ARE PLAYING SAFE AND WITH POLITICS AND THERE ARE TOO SCARE TO ROLL THE DICE. Just to gave all you idea, go watch HBO’S ” THE LATE SHIFT” that will gave a chance what’s is it like in the world of show business.

I missed him in the LATE NIGHT…..he was very funny.

Conan became the host in June of 2009 and things were great. good viewer numbers and good ratings. Then Leno decided to return in primetime to start the Jay Leno Show. It flunked ruining the viewer numbers for the local news and Conan’s Tonight Show. Then NBC wanted to move Jay’s show to 11:30 and Conan to 12:05. Conan said it would destroy the Tonight Show (which it would) for changing from its 11:30 timeslot for the first time in fifty years. So Conan left. It was too soon :(

why was he only there for seven months? did the show drop viewers or something?

  11. indycoltsrule18 says:

it’s a good thing he’s going to be on tbs now

  12. sunshineuk1965 says:

yes I on reflection you are right – I think he was treated badly and will bounce back because he’s a huge talent.

  13. jayrobson88 says:

I dont neccessarily think its hit and miss, i think conans alot more mainstream than ppl give him credit for. And the stars are never involved with his crazy humor unless theyre specifically involved in a skit, and in that case they choose to be involved.

  14. edbsu says:

Conan is allot better than Jay Leno by far!

  15. sunshineuk1965 says:

I have to agree, although i find conan very VERY funny, his wild humour was very chaotic and hit and miss – I think few stars could really relax totally because they would end up being the straight guys to his crazy humour. I KNOW he was treated badly but that’s hollywood.

  16. J0NDUDE says:

    GO CONAN!
    GO CARSON!

  17. jayrobson88 says:

3 then…Dude Conan had a lotta ppl come on his Late Night show at the end saying how he’d never survive in LA, Conan joked alot about how he’d never last. It’s got absolutely nothing to do with predicting the future, it was all about Conan’s self-deprecating humor and making fun that he with his abstract humor and frat boy audience was gonna take over a very respectable, straight-laced franchise. No1 in Conan’s camp/anywhere coulda actually predicted he wuda got moved to midnight.

  18. tktru says:

Ironic how the NBC affiliates (KNBC included) all played a role in Conan’s ousting….

  19. amp710252853 says:

so how many ppl didnt think this would work out… howard stern artie lange, i guess will ferrell…

  20. GBsmovies says:

Finally NBC had a great show and they just flipped it up. Fuck’em all!

  21. zarkbot88 says:

If I could freeze time, I could make those 7months Conan fronted TTS last the rest of my life.

  22. Donahue2 says:

Yeah, but only as a fill-in.

  23. oniforo says:

Conan is such a good guy, I am deeply saddened by this all and I cant wait to see him come back. I’m with Coco

  24. kellyberry says:

rember kids u can do anything u want unless jay leno wants to do it too if nbc wants me to stop making fun of them on youtube give me 12:05 timeslot when no ones watching

  25. TheJosephPrice says:

For 7 months he is unable to host any shows.
Not sure about interviews but I’m sure he wants to be left alone by the media right now.
