yeah, rotten tomatoes is hell as bias. They obviously aren’t the audience, they are not people who enjoy awkward moments and they don’t have the amazing ability to laugh at stupidity.
They obviously don’t understand that it’s suposed to be stupid in the part where they imagine the book. It’s not an amazing movie but it was a good movie, you just have to know what to expect and I knew what to expect from the trailer so I could enjoy it. This and the scott pilgram review have taught me something, rotten tomatoes is full of shit.
This movie was aweomse, screw them.
They all said the same things about Napoleon Dynamite and just look at how they hold that movie in higher regard now. Hypocrites!

You guys bombed on the fact that HALF the movie was about this kid’s bizarre life of being homeschooled with a borderline insane mother with quirky delusions of being a fashion designer of horribly bad (though original) nightgowns. Kinda reminded me of the move Orange County there. I found this bit of realism to be quite disturbing…
And they nailed the “Bad SciFi” genre here. If you don’t understand the subject material, that’s your own fault.

Gentlemen Broncos was brilliant regardless of what any idiot thinks.
Ok this movie wasn’t great by any means. But still, there were several times when I laughed out loud and I couldn’t help but root for the protagonist. Doesn’t deserve all the flame it’s getting.
