I thought this movie was good. David tennant’s character could have done more. The 3-d of this movie is rare throughout. and I don’t know if anyone else noticed the cameo of the actor who played Jerry the Vampire(1985).

@GoldstarBallbuster wow, you’re really going to tell someone to go commit suicide because he has a different opinion than you? what kind of sick fuck are you? bet you were some big shot in high school, but as soon as you got out into the real world you realized how pathetic your life really was, so picking on “nerds” makes you feel big again. get a life.

  3. BRm2008 says:

    i give it a 2/5

  4. BRm2008 says:

the characters were annoying and ed in the original was FUNNY. i like christ mints plass in other movies but he didnt do anything more than the monster of the week on buffy would have. and david tennant is not even a decent dr who much less a peter vincet god damn it. the original Peter Vincent owned.

  5. BRm2008 says:

NO U FUCKHEAD the original is better

  6. BRm2008 says:

  7. atrocityexhibition12 says:

You have the highest quality video I’ve seen so far.

  8. thedarkknightfall says:

GREAT remake. The little hate it got on youtube was sad and could only come from bitter fans who were too young to know the original was shit.

  9. thedarkknightfall says:

@StupidBoyComics ha ha ha. That is a very great way of putting it. I hated the original and loved the 2011 film. Not even the same movie

  10. StupidBoyComics says:

Please. The original evil ed is the Jar Jar Binks of the horror universe.

  11. StupidBoyComics says:

    Spot on review Guy.

  12. StupidBoyComics says:

@GoldstarBallbuster Seriously guy, with all the names and insults, i think its pretty much safe to say you no longer have an opinion on this page.

  13. CritiCarter says:

Something that Tennant said about “being like a good date–get him drunk and he’ll do anything.” Not the best message to send, I thought.

  14. beev7 says:

First time seeing your reviews. Pretty good, accurate, and precise! Me likee…. I also liked Fright Night despite not seeing the original. Kept me on my seat, and totally drawn in. Problem is…what was the joke at the end of the film? Didnt catch that.

  15. MrBiggyben93 says:

what joke at the end?? lol

  16. CritiCarter says:

@GoldstarBallbuster Oh, and Poots has been working in film over the past five years, and isn’t some fly-by-night “actress” like the Victoria’s Secret model that replaced Megan Fox in the third Transformer’s film.

  17. CritiCarter says:

@GoldstarBallbuster Bet it makes you feel real big, insulting someone probably half your age over the Internet.

As I said re: the original, Ed is too annoying to understand why anyone would be his friend, and a lot of character motivation (especially the girlfriend in the first scene) makes little to no sense, thanks to the shoddy script. Also, it takes great skill to make practical effects look good, and the team who worked on the original didn’t have that.

  18. killerkevin27 says:

This guy’s awesome! Lovin the reviews.

  19. CritiCarter says:

If you can’t figure out why they’d be friends, he’s too annoying.

  20. Dyson350 says:

He was suppose to be annoying!! He is a nerd that is obsessed with monster fiction which is also why they call him “Evil” For comparing it to the original and bashing the original you certainly don’t know much about it.

  21. Dyson350 says:

Its really not even worth a torrent. I will admit halfway through I was starting to feel like maybe I didn’t give it a fair chance but after that it was downhill and made me wish I was watching the original. The build up is good but the climax is short and not any good. The Peter and Charlie chemistry was horrible, in the first one they felt like a team. This one makes the “team” feel hollow. Same with Evil Ed, no where near the character as the original. CG sucked too.

  22. Dyson350 says:

lol yes along with the contents in the movie, I guess you don’t remember when Parental Advisory stickers were put on CD’s it made kids flock to them like candy. Humans want what they are not suppose to have or shouldn’t have, its in their nature and kids are included in that. But this is getting off topic. Long story short the rating systems have been and always will be ignored and are just there for legality purposes. Perfect example is videogames.

  23. CritiCarter says:

So an R rated film is supposed to appeal to kids more than a PG-13? That MPAA is one wacky organization if that’s the case.

  24. Dyson350 says:

no I was referring to the new one when I said BS

  25. CritiCarter says:

Oh, so you’re having trouble looking past the nostalgia filter. Understandable. You admit the original had “the BS they put in it to make the little kids like it.” I never knew little kids were supposed to like horror films.

The Twilight card was a but uncalled for, though.

  26. battybuddy says:

Yep. AOTKT was the first show to go fully CGI.

  27. 595o says:

    It’s likelier than you think.
